How to get a Library Card

To obtain a library card, please bring your driver's license and a current piece of mail for address verification. 

For residents of Audrain County:
Library cards are free to residents of Audrain County. 

Children's library cards:
A parental signature is required for children's library cards.
Parents are responsible for the library materials checked out by their children. 


Reciprocal borrowing:

Library cards are also free to reciprocal borrowing patrons of the Callaway County Library, Centralia Public Library, Daniel Boone Regional Library, Little Dixie Regional Libraries, Missouri River Regional Library, and the Ralls County Library.
Some restrictions apply to reciprocal borrowing patrons.

Not an Audrain County resident?
You can get a library card for a $20 annual fee. 

Not an Audrain County resident, but own land in Audrain County?
Simply present a current copy of your Audrain County property tax receipt, and you can be issued a FREE library card. 

Replacement Cards:
Lost your card? No problem. A replacement card may be purchased for $3.00. 

If you or any library-card holder in your family has a change of name, address, phone number, or email address, please inform a librarian. 

If you or any library-card holder in your family moves out of Audrain County, please inform us and return your library card. 

If a member of your family has a library card and is deceased, please inform us and return their library card, if possible.
